Set in the peaceful village of Torcross, At The Beach offers a relaxing holiday destination while still having plenty in the local area to keep you entertained.

Torcross was made famous as the training ground for US Army forces preparing for the D-Day invasion in World War II. An American Sherman tank which was lost at sea in 1944 and recovered in 1984, and memorials, stand beside the visitor parking lot as a reminder of the lives that were lost.
Dartmouth is a short drive away, as is Salcombe, and both offer a choice of fine restaurants, cafes, bars, unique shops and attractions.

18 at the beach, Torcross is a fantastic accommodation situated at the west end of Slapton Ley. The location is fine for people who are looking for a fairly quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The accommodation is fantastic. Lots of space over thee floors with modern decor, the price was right which is why we will definitely return. Why would you want a caravan when you can have a three storey apartment for less of your hard earned.
