The Byre @ Warkworth is a newly converted dairy, set in its own enclosed garden in the grounds of the owners house. The property has been in the family's ownership for over a 100 years. Very close to the beach which can be accessed via a coastal path.
Birling is approx 1 mile from the centre of Warkworth, a pretty village dominated by its wonderful castle, its main street with indpendent retailers, shops, pubs and eateries, a beautiful church and stone bridge over the river, along which is a dog friendly riverside walk.
The owners have used locally sourced materials to incorporate during the property's renovation so it offers many original features like beams, flagstones etc., an eclectic mix of traditional style furnishings and vintage and modern items throughout.
Large expanse of wide opening glass doors lead from the enclosed private courtyard as an entrance into the open plan lounge dining kitchen. The patio is lushly planted and this area makes for a lovely seating area to enjoy the outside space for an alfresco breakfast or sundowners in the evening. Access to enclosed garden with treehouse.
