    Literally 10 mins walk into Appleby, with independent shops and places to eat. The pub near the cottage served excellent food. Would go again.

    Not far from the town lovely walks , across the road down to the river.pub just a stone throw away, nice and friendly food was good.comfy beds.was nice to arrive and place warm and cosy,
