From the front door you are just minutes away from exploring the castle or walking the cobbles of the main square of Middleham, watching the racehorses trot past and enjoying a drink at a local café or pub. If you don't feel like venturing out, you can sit in the sunny back garden with its table and chairs and enjoy a home cooked meal.

Middle Cottage is located in the quiet village of Middleham, a small market town in the Yorkshire Dales. The English Heritage site protecting Middleham Castle, the childhood home of Richard III, is just a short walk away from the property.

Middleham is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park but is also within driving distance of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough.
