Set just a minutes stroll to the sandy beach at Portreath and its little picturesque harbour, which is perfect for a spot of early evening crabbing off the quay.
Portreath is a lovely seaside resort with big sandy beaches and coves, stunning coastline and a few village pubs, restaurants and cafes.
Portreath is popular for surfing and sandcastles in the summer months and is wonderfully located for walking and perhaps even storm watching in the winter months.
Spacious and homely and welcomes you in to kick back and relax.
You are welcomed into the entrance way where there is room for flipping off your flip flops and leaving the buggy and boards.
Move through into the living room where comfy sofas, throws and relaxation awaits! The spacious kitchen and dining room is the perfect place for chatting, eating, cooking and mooching.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms. A lovely master bedroom to the front, a twin bedroom and a bunk bed room. There is a light and airy bathroom with bath (and shower).
One dog is welcome by requst only and out of peak season & school holidays (please note at the time of booking) There is an extra charge of £25 paid directly to the owners.
Portreath is a lovely Cornish coastal harbour with sandy beaches and lovely cafes.
Take an early morning dip... throw on your wetsuit and stroll straight into the sea in just a minute. Then head home for a breakfast on the terrace with some fresh baked bread from the fabulous Portreath bakery (just across the road).
Take the coast path north to Porthtowan and enjoy the sea air and views and reward yourself with a Cornish cider at the Blue Bar on the beach.
Take a BBQ down to the beach for a gorgeous Cornish sunset and remember it is only 100 metres back home for more food/beer!
Splish splosh through the rock pools searching for little fish, crabs and maybe a spot of treasure.
Discover the beautiful Tehidy Woods just up the road. You’ll find twinkling streams, lakes, big trees, trails and a spot of outdoor theatre.
Sit back and relax with a coffee from the little Portreath Beach Cafe whilst your nippers build sandcastles on the beach.
Hire some bikes and have a coast to coast adventure through woods, valleys and meadows.
