A charming end-terrace cottage, in the centre of the village of Burton Fleming, just seven miles from Bridlington and Filey, in Yorkshire Wolds. This cosy cottage is ideal for families and friends wanting to explore the rolling expansive countryside, yet be within easy reach of traditional seaside resorts. Comfortable and homely, there is a modern, well-equipped kitchen with a useful pantry and utility with basin and WC. The cosy sitting room has a lovely warming woodburner, while the separate dining room has an additional TV, enabling guests to spread out for their own private space. Upstairs, the three spacious bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated and the family bathroom boasts a jet shower. Outside, is a delightful large rear garden, providing a sheltered and tranquil spot to enjoy afternoon tea, or to use the barbecue and dine alfresco. A five minute walk past the village pond, complete with resident ducks and geese, brings you to the local pub and shop. There are many walking and cycling opportunities in the vicinity, along quiet country lanes and public footpaths, in this largely undiscovered corner of Yorkshire. You may wish to visit the many stately homes and gardens that pepper the surrounding district, including Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and Wolds Way Lavender and Herb Farm. Children of all ages will be enthralled with a day at the seaside in Filey and Bridlington, with their long sandy beaches, elegant promenades, candy floss, sticks of rock and pitch and putt! The pretty village of Burton Fleming lies in the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Old cottages cluster around the ancient village green, whilst the Gypsey Race River flows through the village. This small village hosts a local inn and a farm shop. Lovely countryside surrounds the village, with numerous public footpaths and cycle tracks in the area.
