Set in the heart of Cornwall. The holiday lodges nestle in six acres of peaceful parkland with a meandering steam running through the park.
This family run park is perfectly positioned for visiting The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and exploring the sandy beaches, quiet coves and historic harbours with abound on Cornwall's gentle south coast.
Sleepings a maximum 6 persons in one bedroom with double bed and hairdryer and en-suite toilet with wash basin, a second bedroom with two single beds and third bedroom with two single beds . All bedrooms have radio alarm clocks. Duvets and bed linen and towels are supplied.
The lounge/dining area has a CD player and television and DVD player.
Type lodge has an open plan fitted kitchens with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave oven, along with the usual crockery and cutlery. .
Bathroom with a shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.
Heating in all rooms the including bathroom with double glazing throughout.
Outside there is a patio with picnic table.
The lodge is situated on level ground with parking close by.
On the far bank of the stream there is a small playing field with football posts, outdoor badminton and activity equipment for younger children. There is also a selection of garden games for you to enjoy - Noughts and Crosses, Giant Jenga, Giant Draughs, Giant Connect Four and Giant Dominoes.
On the park is a small launderette with coin operated machines and free book and games library. As resident owners we are available for help and assistance when needed.WiFi is available in your lodge for a small charge.
We do not have a restaurant or bar on site but within 500 yards is the local village shop and post office and the Polgooth Inn.
Ideally situated for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer whether by car, bicycle or on foot. There are numerous hidden coves and unspoilt beaches to discover on both north and south Cornish coasts with beautiful sandy beaches just a few minutes drive away. There are outstanding stretches of coastal paths and interesting inland areas of beauty and heritage to explore.Spring is a beautiful time in Cornwall with the country lanes abundant in colourful wild flowers and the National Trust and other large gardens are at their best with magnificent magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias. The nearby The Lost Gardens of Heligan with its sub tropical valley gardens and The Eden Project with its gigantic biomes offer a fascinating insight into the world of plant life.
Bicycles can be hired to ride the nearby Pentewan Valley Cycle Trail. The beaches of Porthpean, Pentewan, Gorran Haven and Caerhayes are within 10 miles of the park. Cornwall has many golf courses, there are three excellent eighteen-hole courses in St. Austell, each with a driving range, and the nearest is only 400 yards away. Watersports, Fishing and riding facilities are all available nearby.
The beautiful fishing village of Mavagissey is just 5 miles from St Margaret's. The lovely Roseland area is easily reached, as are the ports of Charlestown, Fowey and looe.
