Set in the heart of Cornwall. The holiday lodges nestle in six acres of peaceful parkland with a meandering steam running through the park.
This family run park is perfectly positioned for visiting The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and exploring the sandy beaches, quiet coves and historic harbours with abound on Cornwall's gentle south coast.
The lodge sleeps a maximum of 6 persons. One bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. Second bedroom with 2 single beds and third bedroom with double bed. All bedrooms have a television, radio alarm clock and hairdryer. Duvets, bed linen and towels supplied.
Large lounge/dining area with CD player, colour television with freeview and DVD player. French windows open onto patio area with outdoor furniture.
Open planned fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Main bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and washbasin.
Central heating and double-glazed throughout. This lodge is situated on level ground with parking close by.
Dogs are not allowed into the lodge.
On the far bank of the stream there is a small playing field with football posts, outdoor badminton and activity equipment for younger children. There is also a selection of garden games for you to enjoy - Noughts and Crosses, Giant Jenga, Giant Draughs, Giant Connect Four and Giant Dominoes.
On the park is a small launderette with coin operated machines and free book and games library. As resident owners we are available for help and assistance when needed.WiFi is available in your lodge for a small charge.
We do not have a restaurant or bar on site but within 500 yards is the local village shop and post office and the Polgooth Inn.
Ideally situated for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer whether by car, bicycle or on foot. There are numerous hidden coves and unspoilt beaches to discover on both north and south Cornish coasts with beautiful sandy beaches just a few minutes drive away. There are outstanding stretches of coastal paths and interesting inland areas of beauty and heritage to explore.Spring is a beautiful time in Cornwall with the country lanes abundant in colourful wild flowers and the National Trust and other large gardens are at their best with magnificent magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias. The nearby The Lost Gardens of Heligan with its sub tropical valley gardens and The Eden Project with its gigantic biomes offer a fascinating insight into the world of plant life.
Bicycles can be hired to ride the nearby Pentewan Valley Cycle Trail. The beaches of Porthpean, Pentewan, Gorran Haven and Caerhayes are within 10 miles of the park. Cornwall has many golf courses, there are three excellent eighteen-hole courses in St. Austell, each with a driving range, and the nearest is only 400 yards away. Watersports, Fishing and riding facilities are all available nearby.
The beautiful fishing village of Mavagissey is just 5 miles from St Margaret's. The lovely Roseland area is easily reached, as are the ports of Charlestown, Fowey and looe.
