Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotless' and 'clean'. This suggests that cleanliness is consistently maintained to a high standard.

The location is frequently described as beautiful and perfect for exploring the Peak District, with good walks directly from the property. The proximity to local amenities and attractions also contributes to a high score.

While many guests found the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, there were some remarks about hard beds and discomfort. The majority, however, had a positive experience, leading to a generally good score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. However, some guests noted issues with heating and hot water, and one mentioned the need for mattress replacement, slightly lowering the score.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The very hot water is dangerously hot !!!! The flags in the garden are very slippery when wet.

Location was beautiful and quiet. Lois the owner was very friendly and very helpful. The cottage was very cosy with everything we needed. Good garden for the dogs and an extra field as well. Will definitely be back hopefully with better weather.
