Good location. The cottage is well equipped, warm and comfortable, especially with the fabric sofas. We love the decor. The view from the garden is wonderful and had the weather been better we would have eaten out there in one of the seating areas. Excellent.

Loved that there were clean towels, blankets and bowls for the doggy guests in case you had forgotten anything, and treats and poo bags! Kitchen in particular equipped to very high standard and the supply of tea coffee and washing up items much appreciated. The light sensors were very welcome to make you feel safe and secure going up and down stairs. Maps and local guides also supplied along with board games to entertain us in the evenings. A real home from home (without the clutter) where you could actually have a rest. Pubs within in walking distance.

So warm and comfortable and really well kitted out with quality items. Great location walkable into Matlock. The outdoor space we couldn't use as the weather wasn't good enough, but would be fab in the summer.
