Holly Cottage in Keswick is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and prime location, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and walking routes. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy living room, and the convenience of a parking space. While some mention street noise and suggest improvements to lounge furniture, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the cottage's exceptional cleanliness, often describing it as the cleanest they've stayed in. The property's tidiness appears to be a significant positive aspect of the guest experience.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre, shops, and walking paths. The convenience of nearby supermarkets is frequently mentioned, although some guests note noise from deliveries and street traffic as a minor drawback.

The comfort of the beds receives mixed reviews, with some guests finding them very comfortable and others suggesting they are too hard. The lounge furniture is also noted by several guests as being less comfortable than desired after a day of walking.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and the bonus of a downstairs WC. However, some guests mention minor issues such as the need for better parking descriptions, a few maintenance suggestions, and the desire for more comfortable lounge furniture.

While many reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness category based on the available reviews.

Very awkward to reverse park into tight space. With the car back to plant pots we were just over the white line. Having to leave room for Trespass staff to get past car and next door conservatory the seating area was only about four feet wide. With three chairs, a table and two bags of compost there wasn't much space. Plus the cottage was very cold when we arrived, with all windows left open. Awkward sash windows meant I had to climb on a chair to close them, not good for someone of a certain age.
