Snaptrip says

Nutkin Cottage in Windermere receives high praise for its cleanliness, prime location, and cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches. While parking can be tricky, the provided permit helps. Some guests noted issues with comfort in one of the rooms and a desire for recycling options.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and very clean, which indicates a high standard of hygiene maintained at the property.

The location is highly praised for being central and convenient, with easy access to local amenities and attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the Lake District.

Overall, guests find the cottage comfortable, especially highlighting the super comfy beds. However, some guests mention that the single beds and the main bed could be improved, slightly lowering the score.

The cottage is well-equipped with high-end appliances and offers a range of facilities including a powerful shower and a wood burner. Some minor maintenance issues and a lack of recycling facilities are noted.

While guests appreciate the attention to detail and the provision of games and a parking permit, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess the level of thoughtfulness in this regard.

Everything we could possibly need was available, including walking guides, books and games. The location was ideal for Bowness centre, close to the Co-Op, the Cinema and a really nice pizza place. We had a fab few days, thanks very much.

The parking permit was a great help. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the shower was brilliant. We also loved having a real fire. We found the beds too soft.

Very comfortable and welcoming property with everything needed to enjoy a great family break. Would definitely look to return to Nutkin Cottage for future trips to the Lake District.
