Off-road parking is available before you enter the property, via the decking, straight into an open-plan living space which allows you to enjoy a home-cooked meal around the table, cooked in the amply-equipped kitchen with a handy dishwasher, or flick on the TV as you bagsy a space on the sofa. Carrying on through the property there is one king size bedroom where you can escape to when the evening draws to a close, as well as a shower room. Unfortunately the noise from the road kept us awake at night and woke us up early. Other reviews saying it is quiet are clearly misleading.

I knocked one point off for the road noise but you canât hear it when youâre in the hot tub or in the property. Bowes is a great base for exploring the very beautiful countryside, youâre pretty much half an hour max from anywhere. Lovely relaxing stay, thanks: )
