This property is close to the historic market towns' many amenities and some of the most important attractions in the area. Walk to independent shops, friendly pubs, restaurants, and the varied stalls on market day. Book tickets for the Alnwick Playhouse and enjoy a coffee in the famous second hand book shop set in the former railway station. The sandy beach, picturesque golf course, and pretty village shops, pubs, and restaurants at Alnmouth are only 4.5miles away. Visit nearby Warkworth s medieval Castle and a lovely beach, Discover Cragside Hall and Gardens in Rothbury where you can also walk along the river and in the stunning Simonside Hills. Drive to the seaside villages of Amble and Craster for delicious seafood and lovely walks. Step into the welcoming hallway where you can hang your outdoor clothing and take off your walking boots. To the left is a small snug/chill out room with a comfortable sofa, a Smart TV, and a range of fun, family board games to enjoy during your stay. Head into the open plan lounge/dining area with a large table and plenty of seating for sociable meals together, a step leads down to the lounge with a large sofa to relax on and Smart TV for your entertainment. Sliding doors lead out into the garden from here. Walkthrough to the reading room with another comfortable sofa and coffee table, perfect for relaxing with a drink and maybe a book. From here you reach the light and airy kitchen where you will have everything you need to prepare your tasty meals including, an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher and you can access the garden easily through the large, sliding door. A door leads into a utility area in the garage where you will find a useful washing machine. Head upstairs to find the shower room with a shower and WC and the bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with views over the garden and a cosy bunk bedroom. The spacious third bedroom is perfect for a family with an en suite bathroom in which two tiled steps lead up to the shower over the bath and WC. There is a double bed, a small TV, and a generous dressing area and open tread stairs lead to a mezzanine level bedroom with a double bed and Velux style windows, great for older kids to share. There is no door to this area, however, there is a stairgate and balustrade at the top. Outside, to the rear, there is a large, south facing, enclosed garden where you can extend your day dining alfresco. To the front, there is off road parking for one car, plus space for a second car on the street in front of the house (subject to availability).
