Causeway House is a detached cottage, situated on the edge of the historic village of Holy Island and can sleep six people. The cottage is mostly on the ground floor and has a double bedroom, a king-size double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, a first floor kitchen and a first floor sitting room with dining area. Outside there is roadside parking and a lawned garden to the rear of the property with furniture. Causeway House is a lovely base for discovering all that Holy Island has to offer.

Three ground floor bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x double, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor kitchen. First floor sitting room with dining area.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with furniture, side patio. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3 mins walk. Beach 5 mins walk. Note: A water tank is visible from the front of the property. Note: Property accessed via a long causeway, at high tide the causeway can be inaccessible for 5 1/2 hours.

Around and About

Holy Island is set in the heart of the Heritage Coastline and the journey to this lovely island begins with the checking if the tide times to ensure it is safe to make the crossing. On the island visitors will find Lindisfarne Priory, ample central parking, pubs, quaint tea rooms and a museum where visitors can learn all about the history of the island. A wonderful base for exploring this region.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
