About this Holiday Cottage

Beautifully presented throughout Boca Chica Cottage overlooks a wide expanse of beach at the mouth of the Wansbeck River and is steeped in history and the area's industrial past. Formally a stable for wagon horses and later a school house, the cottage maintains may original features which combine with stylish, modern fixtures and fittings.

Inside

The open plan living area has high vaulted ceilings, a wood burner stove, exposed stone wall and comfortable leather suite. There is also a Smart TV with Freeview service and the dining room has a wooden table, four chairs plus a two seater sofa and sideboard. Modern self catering facilities in the kitchen include a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, ceramic hob and oven.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The property has two double bedrooms, each with a king size bed. One of the rooms can be presented as a twin if preferred and both have plenty of storage. There is also a large wet room shower which is accessed from the main hall.

Outside

Guests can relax in the nautically themed garden and the property has direct access to the beach along with a secure enclosed courtyard. There is also parking for one car.

Other Things to Note

A travel cot and high chair can be supplied free of charge. The rental charge includes bedding, towels, full central heating, initial logs and kindling for the fire, Wi-Fi, toiletries and a generous welcome pack.

Storage for cycles, kayaks, golf clubs etc can be pre-arranged.

Availability

Short breaks of two nights or more may be available at certain times of the year. Up to three dogs are welcome by arrangement at £25 each per stay with a dog bowl provided.
