About this Holiday Cottage

A wonderful retreat for families and groups, Portland is a luxurious seafront property in Beadnell set a short walk from the bay and village amenities. Furnished to an exceptional standard throughout, the house boasts plenty of outdoor space and two well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Inside

The gorgous living accommodation includes three comfortable sofas, bean bags for the kids, a flat screen TV with Netflix, a large dining table with eight chairs, sideboard, furnishings by Barker & Stonehouse and solid oak wood flooring. The well equipped kitchen is fitted with a breakfast bar seating area, electric oven and hob, integral fridge and freezer, microwave and coffee machine. The utilty/ boot room has a washing machine, dryer, second large fridge freezer, sink and ice maker.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

A beautiful open tread oak staircase leads to the first floor which has three ensuite bedrooms:

Two king size doubles, both with seaviews and one with a sea facing balcony

One twin bedroom

All bedrooms are ensuite and there are two shower rooms plus a third bathroom with overhead shower. Travertine tiles decorate the bathrooms

All are carpeted with facilities including a flat screen TV

A second oak and glass staircase leads to the attic suite:

A large room with vaulted ceiling and seaviews

A super king-size double bed which can be presented as a twin if preferred

Furnishings include a huge walk in wardrobe, flat screen TV and a separate shower room with travertine tiles

Outside

Sliding doors lead out onto the patio and there is a fully enclosed garden with astroturf laid. A barbecue is provided along with a cleaning kit but please bring charcoal. There is also off road parking for two small cars or one larger vehicle and other parked on the road. 

Other Things to Note

A great range of facilities for children inlcude a stair gate, cots and high chairs for hire, indoor and outdoor games, stuff for the beach including buckets and spades, TVs in all of the bedrooms and astro turf in the garden.

Membership to the Ocean Club is provided which allows access to the indoor pool, spa, fitness suite, coffee shop, bistro and treatment rooms - an entrance fee to the Club applies.

The rental price includes bedding, bed linen, hand and bath towels, tea towels, kitchen towel, oven glove, electricity, heating, Wi-Fi and a welcome supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a sweet treat. Basic bathroom toiletries are also supplied.

Supermarkets including Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury deliver to the property and catering can be hired locally.

Availability

The changeover day for the cottage is Friday.

Two well behaved dogs are accepted at £25 each per stay with a dog duvet, plastic dog bed and a medium or large crate provided by arrangement.
