Snaptrip says

Jamaal Lodge is highly praised for its spaciousness, comfort, and well-equipped nature, making it an ideal base for exploring Northumberland's stunning beaches and attractions. Guests appreciate the property's dog-friendly garden and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Jamaal Lodge to be very clean, with only a few isolated incidents of cleanliness issues such as the presence of flies. The overall high standard of cleanliness contributes to the positive experiences reported.

The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as perfect for exploring local beaches and towns. Its proximity to Druridge Bay and other attractions, along with the quiet setting, despite being on a housing estate, is greatly valued by guests.

Guests generally find the lodge comfortable, especially praising the beds and spacious living areas. However, there are comments about a sunken sofa and a need for minor improvements, slightly affecting the comfort score.

The lodge is well-equipped according to guests, with a secure garden for dogs and a well-stocked kitchen. Some maintenance issues and problems with Wi-Fi and TV reception have been noted, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While some guests mention receiving wine and biscuits upon arrival, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gifts are provided to all guests.

About this property

Amble 3 miles. A fabulous, detached wooden lodge located in the quiet hamlet of South Broomhill, on the rural outskirts of Amble, 4 miles from Warkworth. Situated close to the beautiful Druridge Bay Country Park and Nature Reserve, this spacious property boasts bedrooms on both the ground and first floors, two bathrooms, a first floor balcony and a lovely large garden surrounding the property, including an enclosed rear lawned area, ideal for dining alfresco. Northumberland's delightful Heritage Coast is a mere 1 mile away, whilst Alnwick, Berwick, the Scottish Borders and Newcastle, with its world-famous Metrocentre, are all within easy driving distance. A fantastic property in a great location!

This lively little seaport, with its new marina, bustling harbour, where freshly caught fish can be bought from the shop, glorious sandy beaches and a coastal walk to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley makes this a perfect place to spend a holiday. There are plenty of activities to occupy the whole family right on the doorstep, and Amble-by-the-Sea is also well located from which to explore the rest of Northumberland. To the south of Amble lies Coquet Island, an rspb reserve, where boat trips around the island can be organised and puffins, eider ducks and terns can be seen. There are many charming coastal villages to be discovered including Alnmouth and Craster, whilst further inland the castles of Warkworth and Alnwick along with the National Trust properties of Wallington Hall and Cragside House are all within an easy reach. A superb holiday destination for all the family.

For multigenerational holidays the provision of two lounge areas made it easy for people to relax as they wanted to. Lots of board games provided for times when the weather may be a bit wet.

Loved our stay and would definitely go back

No complaints whatsoever. Location perfect with short drives to plenty of interesting places and a 25 min walk to a beautiful lake and the beach. Local shops 5 min walk a godsend. Caretaker lives across the road and is so approachable. He also puts your bins out for you. Would definitely rent again.
