Lovely property in a great location close to the harbour, pubs and shops but away from the busiest areas. The cottage was well furnished, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and the fabulous beaches that Northumbria has and we have stayed in Seahouses many times, it never disappoints.

We enjoyed our stay, however, the parking had restricted access. We had a couple of minor issues, initially with the hot water. Once we found the information folder we were able to resolve this but the folder was not prominently displayed. The plug in the wash basin in the bathroom became faulty whilst we were there. We did advise the staff that we could manage until the end of our stay as the maintenance man was on holiday.

It would be useful to include information about where to park in the information that is sent beforehand, as it is unclear where is allowed in the courtyard. Also, it is really tricky with a big car to get through the archway (each time one of us had to get out of the car to guide it in to ensure we didn't hit the wall). It wasn't clear if it was an option to park on the road outside of the front door instead. Otherwise, a very cosy, warm cottage in a good location.
