An immaculate, detached, limestone built cottage, offering single-storey accommodation in the centre of the village of Biggin in the Peak District, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout and provides spacious living areas to relax in, as you plan your activities for the days ahead. Biggin is a small, 13th century rural village ideally located for the Dove and Manifold valleys in the Peak District National Park, with a church and pub serving good food. Close by are National Trust owned Dovedale, the Tissington Trail, the village of Hartington with its famous cheese shop and market towns including Buxton and Ashbourne. Wonderful surrounding countryside allows for great walking and cycling, and Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are well worth a visit.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Great location with superb local walks and within easy drive to Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne.

It was extremely clean. The only point I would make is that the kitchen needs to have blinds fitted to the windows.

Clean and comfortable and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage is superbly well located for walking and there are so many other places of interest worth visiting. Hope to come back again.
