Snaptrip says

Guests generally appreciate the cottage's cleanliness, comfort, and prime location for exploring the Peak District. The property is praised for its warm welcome, including a thoughtful welcome pack, and the availability of a meadow for dog walking. Some concerns were raised about hot water supply and TV signal, but these were minor compared to the overall positive experience.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleanliness issues. The consistent mention of cleanliness in the reviews supports a high score.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to Buxton and proximity to local attractions and walks. The village pub and the surrounding area are also appreciated, indicating a very desirable location.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere. Some guests mentioned issues with the thermostat and the firmness of the beds, but overall comfort is rated highly.

Facilities are generally good, with special mentions of the welcome pack and dog-friendly amenities. However, there are comments about insufficient hot water for baths, TV signal issues, and some maintenance concerns, which suggests room for improvement.

The welcome pack and the provision of a meadow for dogs show thoughtfulness. However, as gifts such as welcome packs are subject to change and not guaranteed, this score reflects the positive mentions without setting an expectation of guaranteed gifts.

Very very comfortable, both double bedrooms have a quality en-suite. Warm, clean, had all amenities needed. Lovely private paddock to walk the dogs (it states walled paddock but my pup did escape - if your dog is a flight risk like mine best not to them let off lead in there). I genuinely could live in this cottage. They are new builds but manage to maintain the charm of Peak District housing. Only downside is walls are quite thin so if you have a noisy neighbour..

The pub at the top of the road is also very inviting. The cottage it’s self is well equipped, warm and comfortable. Messaging from the owner Tracey and housekeeper Ellie was excellent. I Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
