Located in the grounds of the owners' home and only two miles from the picturesque village of Yalding, this is the perfect place to stay when looking to explore the counties of Kent and Sussex. Offering comfortable ground floor accommodation, theres an open plan living area and an attractive twin bedroom where you can awake to the views of the surrounding apple orchards after a restful night's sleep. Whether creating delicious dinners or packing a picnic for a day trip, the well-equipped kitchen has everything to hand. Why not enjoy your morning coffee alfresco in the sunny garden? If country pubs are on your holiday agenda, then make for The Woolpack, which is less than a mile away, where after a brisk winter walk or a slow summer stroll, youre find a selection of meals from tasty bar snacks to speciality fish dishes. The cooking facilities were not up to our standard and both beds needed new mattresses. Lounge sofas were too low and filled with feathers which should be noted in description due to allergies.

Very handy for lots of castles, stately homes etc. Our only concerns were the water not running very hot in the kitchen, though it was very hot in the bathroom, and the shower not being very powerful, but overall this was a brilliant place to stay. Very well equipped and all on ground floor. The owners were very friendly and welcomed us with milk and biscuits. We had a lovely holiday.

Very comfortable new beds and a large fridge freezer, an essential when self catering. At this time of year, the apple blossom in the adjacent orchard was lovely!
