The cooking facilities were not up to our standard and both beds needed new mattresses. Lounge sofas were too low and filled with feathers which should be noted in description due to allergies.

  • Pamela

Very handy for lots of castles, stately homes etc. Our only concerns were the water not running very hot in the kitchen, though it was very hot in the bathroom, and the shower not being very powerful, but overall this was a brilliant place to stay. Very well equipped and all on ground floor. The owners were very friendly and welcomed us with milk and biscuits. We had a lovely holiday.

Very comfortable new beds and a large fridge freezer, an essential when self catering. At this time of year, the apple blossom in the adjacent orchard was lovely!
