Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.  .  Electric central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.  Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included.  Travel cot and highchair available on request.  Welcome pack.  Enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue.  Carport for 1 car.  No smoking.  .  Pensway has often been described by guests as the ideal hideaway as well as being a perfect cottage for a couple with a young family.  Pensway is a very welcoming, quaint cottage, set in the heart of the small village of Burpham, a ‘hamlet’ at the entrance to an ancient Anglo Saxon ‘burgh’, hence the name.  As a one-time wheelwright’s cottage Pensway is set in the heart of the village which is buried deep in the South Downs National Park and is surrounded by the Duke of Norfolk’s estate.  Burpham is a cul de sac, accessed along a country lane by the river Arun, two miles from Arundel.  Whilst Pensway dates from the eighteenth century, with typical exposed beams and some low doorways, it has been sympathetically architect-renovated to a high standard, with a modern bathroom but a traditional-style kitchen, an oak-framed conservatory dining room and a cosy sitting room with a wood burner.  The compact and secluded garden, which has two relaxing and dining areas, a barbecue and lounge chairs, has views of the surrounding countryside.  Guests will be aware during most of the day of the sound of pheasants and buzzards whilst at night only. . .
