Snaptrip says

Guests have praised Forest Farm Cottage for its peaceful and beautiful setting, comfortable and well-equipped interiors, and the warm welcome from hosts Trevor and Sarah. The presence of horses and wildlife adds to the charm, and the property's location is ideal for countryside walks and visiting local attractions. Some guests mentioned minor issues with access roads and cleanliness, but overall experiences were highly positive.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be very clean and well-kept, with only a few isolated comments about floors being sticky upon arrival. The majority of reviews do not raise cleanliness as an issue, suggesting that the property is generally maintained to a high standard.

The location is frequently described as peaceful, with beautiful countryside and good access to local sights. However, some guests noted difficulty in finding the property and navigating the unmade road, which slightly impacts the score.

Guests consistently report that the cottage is comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and a wood burner adding to the enjoyment. The spaciousness and quality of the furnishings are often highlighted, indicating a high level of comfort.

While many reviews mention the well-equipped nature of the cottage and the availability of an EV charging point, there are comments about the lack of certain amenities such as a shower curtain and adequate storage in one of the bathrooms. Due to these mixed reports, a definitive score cannot be provided.

The hosts are frequently commended for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of welcome treats such as brownies and wine. It should be noted that while such gestures are appreciated by guests, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming. Ideal for a quiet relaxing break with lovely surrounding walks. Would recommend.

We all had such a relaxing and peaceful time. Only downfall is there was no lawn for the dog to go on. So he was on a lead everywhere as the surrounding area around the enclosed garden decking was covered in nettles and was at a slope. The horses were beautiful and very friendly which we loved. The cottage was lovely and comfortable.

It is a beautiful cottage, very spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed the welcome brownies on arrival. It is in a great location with lots of wonderful walks from the doorstep. Would love to return to explore the area further.
