Snaptrip says

Guests generally enjoy the stunning views, luxurious amenities like the sauna, jacuzzi, and cinema room, and the peaceful setting of 19 Meadow Retreat. The property's proximity to local attractions and the thoughtful welcome box add to the positive experience. Some concerns about cleanliness and maintenance are noted, but the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is praised for its initial presentation, but some guests have noted areas that require deeper cleaning, such as tops of doors and mirrors. Issues with black mould-like sludge from the jacuzzi jets have been mentioned, affecting the overall perception of cleanliness.

The location is highly regarded for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions like the Eden Project and Looe. The convenience of nearby shopping facilities like Morrisons is also appreciated.

The lodge offers a comfortable setting with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy atmosphere. However, some guests have reported issues with underfloor heating, a loud bedroom radiator, and the configuration of the beds, which slightly detracts from the comfort score.

Facilities such as the cinema room, sauna, and jacuzzi are highlights, though some maintenance issues like peeling paint and the need for updates to the TVs are noted. The random activation of jacuzzi jets and some missing kitchen accessories are minor inconveniences.

While guests appreciate the welcome box, there is not enough information to determine if such gestures are consistent across all stays. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

The site is immaculate and private. Would benefit from a shop and cafe on site. We visited the sister sites restaurant and it was also very nice. Will definitely recommend.

Like others mentioned needed a blind at the roof window because it gets light early now let to much light in the room and also the plain glass on the door no privacy I don’t think anything will be done about it as it has been raised a few times and still nothings been done so wouldn’t stay again but bed was comfortable so that was good

Attention to detail is exquisite. A lot of thought was put in this facility. It was raining for 2 days of our holiday and those 2 days were the best. We spent our time between the indoor jacuzzi and the cinema room. And the sauna, of course.
