Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise 'Oh Buoy!' for its immaculate presentation, high-quality furnishings, and prime location in Charlestown, Cornwall. The property's cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and thoughtful touches, such as welcome scones and Prosecco, contribute to a delightful stay. Its proximity to local attractions and restaurants, along with the bonus of a private parking space, make it an ideal holiday cottage.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers frequently highlight the property's spotless condition and the high standard of cleanliness. The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to Charlestown harbour, restaurants, and attractions like the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Its peaceful setting in a private courtyard, despite being close to local amenities, is also appreciated.

Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the beds very comfortable and the property cosy. The high-quality bedding and well-furnished rooms are noted, although one guest mentioned a preference for a larger bed.

The property is well-equipped with kitchen essentials, entertainment options, and a convenient parking space. However, a minor issue with WiFi and a comment about insufficient cutlery slightly affect the score.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the special touches like fresh scones, Prosecco, and other welcome gifts. While these gifts are warmly received, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

Situated in the heart of one of the most attractive and sought after seaside villages in Cornwall, this beautifully and stylishly furnished stone cottage is set in a small private mews just a short stroll from the harbour of the historic Georgian working port of Charlestown. As you arrive and enter this delightful cottage you immediately sense the homely feel and character with a nautical influence that carries on throughout. Designed in an 'upside down' style the two bedrooms are both located on the ground floor along with the bathroom. On the first floor the open plan living room offers total comfort and relaxation with cosy seating, a country style dining area and a well equipped kitchen. Outside, the patio area offers a delightful suntrap where you can relax with a refreshing drink and decide whether to dine alfresco or take a short walk to one of the fine choices of restaurants, pubs and cafes. Charlestown to this day remains unspoilt and full of Georgian character. Oh Buoy! is a fantastic little cottage. Very well equipped and comfortable. We loved how close the cottage was to the harbour and in walking distance of many pubs/cafes/restaurants. We would love to come back in the future! Thanks again.
