Snaptrip says

The Lobster apartment in Lyme Regis boasts spectacular seafront views and a prime location close to local amenities. Guests appreciate the high standard of furnishings and the inclusion of thoughtful touches, although some have suggested that certain aspects of comfort and maintenance could be enhanced.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The apartment generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with specific praise for housekeeping. However, there are isolated comments about areas needing attention, such as a stained toilet and unclean washing machine area, which slightly lower the score.

The location is consistently praised for its spectacular views and proximity to local attractions, making it a highly desirable aspect of the property.

While the beds are found to be comfortable and the views highly praised, several guests have noted the sofa and dining furniture to be uncomfortable, which impacts the overall comfort score.

Facilities are well-received in terms of kitchen and bedroom equipment, but feedback indicates a need for maintenance on items like the sofa, dining set, and a wobbly window catch. The lack of a shelf in the shower and coat hooks are also noted.

Guests have mentioned appreciating the small touches and welcome pack items, although some feel that the personal touch has diminished since management changes. It should be noted that while gifts are mentioned, their provision is not guaranteed.

However, as numerous guests have been stating for the last FIVE years (please see the guest book in the property) the sofa is dreadful - old/shabby and worn out. Please do consider replacing this, as five years' of complaint with no action suggests that the reviews are not in fact being noted. We also had an issue with the heating and hot water - there was none at all on the first night. The manual in the apartment says to note the boiler instructions in the airing cupboard but there are no instructions. We logged a complaint with the out of hours services but this was not acted on - apparently there is a recurring issue with this service. The next morning, still with no heating or hot water, we had to Google the workings of the boiler and only then were able to work out what needed to be done to get it to work. This is not what we expect on a holiday - to have to research online how the boiler should work!

Unbeatable location and very nicely presented- loved the selection of books and games. Kitchen and bedrooms very well presented. A couple of points to consider: 1. The sofa really isn't comfortable and hard to relax on, an upgrade would be a great idea 2. Hooks in the hallway and on the back of bedroom doors to hang up coats and dressing gowns should be provided 3. The towels are too small and not v luxurious
