As the name suggests, The Cider Barn is a former cider barn, now beautifully converted and offering bright and spacious accommodation throughout.
It really is fabulous retreat away from the stresses and strains of everyday life with plenty of little details providing guests with maximum comfort during their stay. Sitting in a stunning location, the semi-detached stone barn overlooks the rolling landscape around it and the River Severn in the distance.
Perfect for all the activities on offer in the area, the property is located on the south eastern border of the Forest of Dean and is also on the edge of woodland with easy and immediate access to the many paths criss-crossing the woodland.
The bedroom located on the first floor is spacious, bright and cosy, with one double bed complete with an ensuite shower, basin and WC. Downstairs, the open-plan living area and kitchen are great and have all you could ever need.
The outside garden area outside of the house is extensive, with a small pond to sit around during the summer months to chat, and if you wish to have food out there is a paved patio area with table and chairs.

It was delightful to see the birds feeding on the nut feeder whilst drinking coffee in bed. The owners were friendly but not obtrusive. Their welcome pack of eggs, milk and bread were all locally sourced and lovely. We would definitely recommend the Cider Barn for a âget away from itâ all break.

This tranquillity is especially welcome after negotiating steep, muddy, pot holed single track roads. My city car struggled but we were glad to make it. Good bed and woke up daily to cheery sunshine and bird song.

The welcome pack of homemade bread, eggs and milk were much appreciated and the host Kim gave us a lovely welcome, we would thoroughly recommend the Cider Barn!!
