Whilst this property had most things we needed to enjoy our family holiday we were very disappointed by the extremely hard mattresses. One member of the party slept on the sofa, another found they had bruises down both hips and I ended up sleeping sitting up in bed. My granddaughter would have liked to have had access to Netflix.

We loved our stay at The Old Stables over the Easter holidays. The property is beautiful, luxurious and thoughtfully organised. Beautiful green fields, sheep and rabbits all around! Great location, with everything so easily accessible - Longleat Safari Park, Bowood House, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and others! Fantastic local pub too... so pleased we chose this place!

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Stables. Information prior to our visit was very helpful. Lovely, secluded cottage with great views. It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped. We stayed with a baby, so it was great that travel cot and highchair were provided. Location was great too, easy to get to Bath, Longleat and Castle Combe. The only small niggles were that the beds were not very comfortable, one of the ovens wasn’t working and there were lots of flies at the windows. Otherwise it was great, would highly recommend!
