A delightful, early 19th century, detached coach house conversion, in a courtyard within the grounds of an old rectory, in the sleepy village of Shrawardine; a wonderful opportunity to enjoy one of our quality Shropshire cottages. Wonderful walking can be enjoyed in the Shropshire Hills, and National Cycle Network route 81 is just 50 yards from the cottage. Shrawardine is a quiet and secluded village situated in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, ideally located for touring this scenic county. Shrawardine is an easy drive away from the stunning Shropshire hills of the Long Mynd, Stiperstones and Caradoc, with their exceptional walking, biking and horse riding opportunities. Shrawardine is home to the fascinating ruins of a 13th Century Norman castle with impressive views. Just six miles away the medieval city of Shrewsbury, offering a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, a new theatre, timber-framed black-and-white buildings, riverside walks, an abbey and a castle, is waiting to be explored. Also close to Shrawardine are Church Stretton, Ludlow, the Severn Valley Railway and the Ironbridge Gorge museums.
