Snaptrip says

Guests have had memorable stays at the Shepherds Hut, praising its cleanliness, stunning views, and the relaxing hot tub. The cosy and well-equipped accommodation is appreciated for short breaks, with the local village and pubs within walking distance. While some guests noted issues with space and heat management, the overall experience is one of tranquillity and enjoyment, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of reviews highlight the property's immaculate condition and cleanliness, with guests consistently satisfied with the level of hygiene and upkeep.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Proximity to local pubs and walking areas adds to the appeal, although some guests were disappointed about the inaccessibility of the grassy area shown in photos.

Guests find the hut cosy and the bed comfortable. However, some have mentioned the space being too small for larger dogs and the property becoming uncomfortably hot in warm weather, which affects the overall comfort score.

Facilities like the hot tub and well-equipped kitchen are appreciated, but some guests reported maintenance issues such as dangerous decking when wet, a mouldy cushion, and a disconnected outdoor shower, leading to a slightly lower score.

Several guests mentioned thoughtful touches like a bottle of prosecco on arrival, which contributed positively to their experience. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

The only thing I would say if anyone is bringing a larger dog it’s a little bit small but we were out and about anyway! And if the weathers really hot (which doesn’t happen very often) it gets a bit sweaty in there! But apart from that an amazing little place thanks again

Waking up every morning to the view of the chickens whilst having a cup of tea. The bath in the bedroom gives it such a cosy feeling along with the living/kitchen space. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be coming back again.

The view was amazing and made it feel so private and relaxing. The hot tub was (of course) a lovely addition. The garden area was secure so we could let the dog wander around without having to worry about her… although she did mostly just want to bark at the chickens! Lots of local areas to explore. I would come back in a heart beat. Thank you so much.
