Lena Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and well-equipped nature. The property is appreciated for its quiet location, dog-friendly amenities, and secure garden. Guests have enjoyed the local village charm and proximity to beautiful walks and beaches. Some have noted the characterful low ceilings and steep stairs, adding to the cottage's quaint appeal.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests have reported the cottage to be spotlessly clean, with only one mention of dirty crockery. The consistent praise for cleanliness suggests a high standard maintained by the owner.

Guests are pleased with the quiet village location, beautiful walks, and easy access to nearby villages and beaches. The proximity to local amenities like pubs and a garage selling essentials contributes to a favourable location score.

The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with comfortable beds and sofas. However, a few guests mentioned low ceilings and steep stairs which could impact comfort for some individuals.

While guests have mentioned the cottage being well-equipped and having a secure garden, there is insufficient information to accurately score the overall facilities and maintenance, such as the condition of appliances or the reliability of provided amenities.

The owner's thoughtfulness is highlighted by the provision of dog amenities and other extras like DVDs and games. Guests have felt well-cared for, though it should be noted that gifts like biscuits are a kind gesture and may not be provided every time.

But that was the only small negative, the owners were extra friendly and helpful, the cottage is gorgeous and felt homely immediately. Our dog loved the toy shelf amd the nice spacious garden. The village is stunning, we had a lovely walk up to the po d and had the best and biggest burger I have ever seen Matthew local dog friendly pub. It was a great base for us to go all over, we did scarbourough, filey, bridlington a d the smaller towns in between. Scarbourough fair museum was well worth a visit Especially with kids as the old rides a d arcade machines gave us hours of fun. Thankyou so much for letting us have ur little peice of heaven for a week, we will deffo be back!!!!
