Both cyclists and walkers will enjoy Dalby Forest, with its numerous adventure trails and Go Ape course, whilst the North York Moors Steam Railway at Pickering cuts through heathland scenery and glacial valleys to Grosmont. With the majestic city of York a short distance away and the popular seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough waiting to be explored, this is a getaway to remember.

The town of Malton has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers' markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent country for walkers and cyclists. The impressive coastline is just 24 miles away.
