Snaptrip says

Kestrel Lodge is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its tranquil setting and wildlife encounters. Guests enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, comfortable interiors, and the scenic views of the surrounding countryside. The lodge's cleanliness and the provision of amenities contributed to a pleasant stay, although some guests noted areas for improvement in maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the lodge to be very clean, with several positive comments on its tidiness. However, a few guests mentioned minor cleanliness issues, which slightly impacted the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its peace, rural charm, and proximity to nature and wildlife. Guests appreciated the quietness and the beautiful views, although some noted the distance to shops as a minor inconvenience.

Guests generally found the lodge to be cosy and comfortable, with a homely atmosphere. Some concerns were raised about the temperature upon arrival and the condition of the outdoor decking, which suggests room for improvement.

The lodge is well-equipped according to guests, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as the decking needing repair and some appliances not working optimally. These factors have led to a slightly lower score in this category.

While guests have not specifically mentioned gifts, they have noted the inclusion of amenities such as bird seed and dog treats. As there is no consistent mention of gifts, it is not possible to score this category accurately, and guests should not expect gifts as a guarantee.

Light and airy cabin and quiet location. Beautiful countryside with short journey times to various walks. One BIG negative for us was the lack of recycling facilities, but presumably nothing the owners can do about that. A lack of power points in the twin bedded room. ie bedside lamps but no where to plug them in !! In summary a fab holiday cabin.
