Darvel, in East Ayrshire, Scotland, is a charming town between Kilmarnock and Strathaven. With its lace industry booming in the 1800s, this picturesque town earned the nickname "Lace Town" and gained international recognition in places like India. Perfect for a couple of days away with friends. The location is great - not too far from the city but feels like you’re in a totally isolated and peaceful part of the countryside. I would say the water pressure let us down a little - limited pressure and struggled to get hot water consistently which caused a bit of a bother. Otherwise would definitely stay again!
