Ystwyth 26 is a beautiful property found on the family-friendly Brynowen Holiday Park in West Wales, in easy reach of Borth seafront and the bustling town of Aberystwyth. This ground floor home welcomes you up several steps onto a lovely veranda with seating, a peaceful spot to relax and spend a moment alone with your morning coffee. Inside is a spacious open-plan living space, relax on the plush sofa, with room for all the family, switching on a classic film as the gas fire creates a cosy atmosphere on a cold winter's night. Use the dining room space for both mealtimes and for those traditional competitive card games on a rainy day. Use the kitchen to cook a delicious evening meal, fitted with all the amenities needed for your self-catered stay. Take your pick between three modest bedrooms, a fabulous double or two twin rooms which can be made into king-size if needed. Refresh yourself in the morning in the shower room, and if someone else is taking their time, there's even a handy cloakroom situated at the next door. This property benefits from an amazing hidden spot, up some steep steps you'll find your very own private terraced garden section, boasting spectacular views of the far-reaching sea, here you can open up a bottle of wine and enjoy a romantic moment in this picturesque setting. Throughout the months of March to October, the holiday park boasts exciting on-site facilities which you have full use of, take the kids for an afternoon swim at the indoor pool, try your luck at the arcade games, or discover the outdoor adventure playground and football pitch. Snowdonia National Park is a short drive away, with heaps of walking, cycling and hiking trails, whilst Aberystwyth offers cultural attractions at it's castle ruins, cliff top railway, museum. Other fun attractions in reach include the Centre for Alternative Technology, and the Talyllyn narrow gauge steam railway. Borth is an ideal base for a mix of coastal fun and wonderful countryside landscapes.

The caravan was clean, comfy and well stocked with utensils etc. In four days we managed to fit in exploring Borth, New Quay, Aberaeron, Tywyn, Aberdyfi and Machynlleth. We went on the Tal y Llyn railway one day which was pleasant. A few little sticking points (literally!). The front door has dropped and itâs difficult to open/close. The upper seating area has no view (as it showed in the pictures) and the area needs cutting back. There was no welcome pack on arrival which weâve never experienced before with Sykes. A cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit would have been appreciated after a long journey.

We did panic a bit on arrival as couldn't find the keysafe , looked all round , even phoned Sykes, then noticed it siting on a post in some greenery behind the van, so if you do hire for your holiday do look on the wall behind. The van is sited with a lovely view over Borth and the sea, but bear in mind that a fairly steep climb is required to reach it, we are mid 70s and managed o.k. and hope to stay again someday ! Finally , can I thank Janette for providing a lovely holiday home, we both had a really enjoyable stay.

Very clean and tidy on arrival . Only 3 medium towels provided for a week so youâll need to bring some more towels , also there were no tea towels . Pre occupancy checks not brilliant , the blinds over the kitchen area window were broken and missing as was the half lace curtain at the front , both were not major jobs to rectify , but weâre just chucked in the lounge unit .
