The cottage was so warm and comfortable and dog friendly. We were grateful for the traditional welcome pack for us and the dog. There was an abundance of wildlife including the resident chicken's who provided us with some lovely eggs, also the sound of the local woodpecker. Spring cottage is in the perfect location for a relaxing getaway.

The cottage was large and so well equipped, they had thought about everything. It was very cosy. The outlook is very pretty from the front and back of the cottage. Paul and Julie are a really nice couple who own it. Unfortunately I was really poorly with a chest infection, the whole time we were there. So we couldn't really do anything. It also rained most of our stay, which didn't help,as we couldn't get out and about. The only small things they could improve on are -: The property is looking a bit tired in places were it could do with a fresh lick of paint. Also the toilets have an unpleasant smell coming from them, as if the drains need cleaning. Toilet freshner's may help. And the last thing is, the main bedroom, has a very noisy floor. So creeping out of bed at night to go the toilet was not an option. All in all it is a beautiful place to stay, and we would definitely stay there again. It is very quiet and tranquil. Oh yes and the Chickens are lovely and so happy
