Quayside Cottage in Conwy is praised for its superb location and stunning views, offering a cosy and homely atmosphere. Guests appreciate the comfortable bed and the convenience of being close to local amenities. While some guests have had delightful stays, others suggest that attention to detail in cleanliness and maintenance could enhance the experience.
Several reviews mention the need for a deeper clean, with specific references to sticky floors, dusty areas, and a general need for more thorough maintenance. However, some guests found the property clean and ready for their stay.
The location is consistently lauded for its fantastic views and proximity to Conwy town centre, with easy access to dining and sightseeing. The peaceful setting despite being close to the high street is a highlight for many.
Guests find the bed very comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the open fire. However, some guests mention uncomfortable seating in the living area and issues with heating regulation.
The cottage is well-equipped for most needs, but guests have reported issues with kitchen appliances, cutlery quantities, and a need for better maintenance. The presence of an open fire is appreciated, but some guests noted missing tools for its use.
There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no consistent mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the owner's thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.

Front door creaked opening and closing. No dishwasher as stated. Patio area not clean and garden furniture green mouldy. Outside toilet dirty and door wouldn't close. Soft furnishings in living room dusty and uncomfortable. We were both bitten on sofa. Slipped on stair carpet and fell downstairs splitting head and hurting back and ribs. Location lovely but not best experience.

Parking was very tight and great care needed when reversing down past the many holiday makers milling around the harbour. The shower area was good but would have benefited from a soap dish. No direct view of the harbour can be seen from the downstairs window. The cottage is located in an ideal spot for the town, harbour and surrounding area. We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay and would happily return at another time.
