Glanaig is a spacious and well-equipped bungalow in Porthmadog, appreciated for its lovely location, enclosed garden, and suitability for dogs. Guests enjoyed the proximity to the beach and local amenities, and many are keen to return. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experiences.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is generally found to be clean and tidy, with some guests noting it as 'very clean'. However, there are comments suggesting that a more thorough cleaning of skirting boards and paintwork could enhance the cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, proximity to the beach, and ease of access to local shops and amenities. The scenic views and peaceful environment contribute to a positive experience.

The bungalow is considered comfortable, with spacious rooms and a well-thought-out layout. Some guests mentioned the beds could be improved, and one noted a hard and lumpy mattress, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are generally good, with special appreciation for dog-friendly features. However, guests have reported maintenance issues such as an old oven and hob, a problematic central heating system, and a need for clearer instructions for appliances. The lack of a dishwasher and a larger freezer were also noted.

While the reviews reflect that the property is well-equipped and considerate towards dog owners, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate additional thoughtfulness. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The bungalow is in a fantastic location & very spacious, clean and comfortable. The only improvement from our point of view is that a small freezer rather than just a small top of the fridge section would have been really useful. We noticed from our last stay in March 2023 that the cooker looked in a forlorn state from the outside but it did work so would not put us off from a return visit.

Close to the beach and not far from the shops. Owners have thought of everything to make it safe for dog owners. Lovely and clean plus 3 big bedrooms to pick from.
