A Grade 2 listed ex-copper miners cottage overlooking the village green (which has no vehicular access) and the adjacent River Glaslyn.
The cottage is furnished as a family home, having been in the family for two generations. There is parking for two cars at the rear of the property and a garage suitable for the storage of bicycles, canoes, golf equipment, etc.
Entry is through a sheltered back garden to the conservatory. This leads to a fully-fitted kitchen. To the left is a boiler / drying room - with an overhead drying rack - thence through a sliding door into a downstairs shower and toilet.
Straight ahead from the kitchen is the living room with a dining recess and an open fire. The stairs are fitted with a stair lift - useful for luggage as well as people - on to an upstairs landing. The front double room has a cupboard and other storage cabinets and an ensuite bathroom.
The back bedroom has two single beds, a large built-in cupboard with hanging space and shelves plus bedside cabinets and a washbasin. All beds are fitted with electric blankets and both bedrooms have cupboards.
All WEEKLY bookings include FREE bed linen, broadband, central heating, electricity and pets.
For SHORTER bookings bring your own bed linen
OR linen can be supplied for a £20 Laundry Surcharge.
For weeks beginning 25th. Aug. and 22nd. Sept. ONLY a £25 voucher towards a meal at the Hebog Restaurant in the village is included... this offer does NOT apply to shorter bookings.
The village is surrounded by mountains and has two rivers flowing through - the Glaslyn and the Colwyn - which join within sight of the front door of the cottage. There are many walks along the valley bottom and also up the surrounding mountains.
There are several hotels and pubs in the village plus a well stocked village shop / post office which sells daily papers.
The West Highland Railway station above the village provides a rail link to Porthmadog and Carnarfon. Historic castles at Harlech, Carnarfon and Penrhyn are nearby, as are copper and slate mines. Bodnant Gardens are well worth a visit.
For the adventurous there are zip wires and surfing lakes whilst nature lovers cna visit the osprey site at Prenteg, about 4 miles south of the village.
