Pat and Burt. Stoke-on-Trent, United KingdomSuperb LocationAbsolutely fab location. Shame the village pub has closed down but the 2 mile walk to the Port William is well worth it. Lovely property and the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely gesture. We would definitely go to this fab property again as it is in a stunning part of Cornwall

Martina K. said...5 of 5 stars. 17 Apr 2016Wonderful views from the conservatoryWe had a most wonderful stay in Crowsnest at Park Farm Cottages. The house had so much character and the view from the conservatory was amazing! We loved walking along the beautiful and dramatic coastline. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and provided us with good information on what to do

The compact fully fitted kitchen overlooks sea views, and is well equipped with electric hob/oven, microwave oven, toaster, Fridge/freezer, and utensils. Also overlooking fantastic views, is the lounge/diner, furnished with TV with Freesat HD and DVD, VCR & CD/ Radio player, dining table and chairs, and comfortable 3-piece suite.

The cottage apartment sleeps up to 4 people in two separate bedrooms - A double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Bed linen and bath towels are provided free of charge and beds are made up for your arrival.

The bathroom has bath/shower, electric towel heaters, hair dryer and under-floor heating. An iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning utensils are provided for your convenience.

Electricity is included in the price.

Children are most welcome but, due to the balcony, this cottage is only suitable for children over 8. We regret we are unable to accept pets, however there is a local kennels and cattery close by.

There is private off-road parking for one car; extra cars by arrangement.

Location on google maps

There are lots of country and coastal walks starting from the door (maps & directions provided). A walk of less than 1 mile down the valley from the cottages takes you past the Mill House Inn to Trebarwith Strand with a surf school, beach cafes, small shops and the Port William pub up on the cliff side overlooking the beach.   About 1 mile from the cottages is Tintagel with 2 small supermarkets, chemist, restaurants and pubs. Tintagel also has it’s world famous castle, which legend tells to be the home of King Arthur of Camelot which is celebrated in King Arthur's Great Hall built in the 1930's by an eccentric millionaire.   Also in Tintagel is "The Old Post Office" - a 14th century manor house and the 900 year old Parish Church of St Materiana. Immediately adjacent to Tintagel is the sandy cove of Bossiney - hidden away by steep cliffs, it is the ideal spot for a picnic or just a day away from it all.    Just a short walk along the cliff path brings you to Rocky Valley, a wooded valley with a cascading stream and some stone carvings which are thought by some historians to be Bronze Age.
